First, Hana is not a web browser. Sure, it walks like one, quacks like one, but it is not a duck! Erm, browser! It is a web VIEWER. VIEWer. Or more accurately it is a web app work space. Since a web browser doesn't really browse, I guess you could say it is a web worker too!
So what does THAT mean?
Before Hana, you had to use a web browser or one of a handful of specialized apps just for a specific web app. With the web browser, you had several problems. These problems ranged from easy access to your bookmarks to easy access to closing all of you apps by accidentally clicking the close button or quitting the application. In Hana, you can close the window and you can quit Hana, but when you open it up, there are your web apps, ready to get back to work!
So, now that you have an idea of what Hana isn't, what IS Hana?
Hana is the program you need to access all of your web apps in one place. Just like you will open all of a folder's worth of bookmarks in Safari in tabs, all of your web apps in Hana will be available in tabs. Plus you have the added benefit of not having added distractions such as your bookmarks and the whole world wide web!
Hana is the app for working with your web apps. The Web-app App!
